A really weird and somewhat disturbing coincidence. At a specific time of the day, four windows reflected the unobstructed sunlight exactly on this rim in the wall of the building!
Although I walked passed the synagogue several times that week, one of these walks also included that very moment of that very day.
Yes, coincidences do exist.
On the other hand: is it a coincidence that I decided to publish this observation? No it is not: that was my decision. But was my decision a coincidence? My answer to that question is neither yes nor no, but: there is a reason I do not really like philosophy.
