Freedom-loving conservatives around the world are reminded daily that there are many reasons for great concern.
At this moment the two topics at the top of my X.com time line are from a very famous woman and a very famous man: JK Rowling and Gad Saad.
JKRowling comments on Sarah Owen being elected as chair of the Women and Equalities Committee. This Sarah is a Labout MP in British Parliament:
The interest of British women and girls are now in the hands of a politician who can’t define what a woman is, but is certain men are women if they say they are.
Gad Saad comments on a 27-second clip in which a young white boy is being harassed by two less white boys. He makes no attempt to deflect or dodge the blows to his face. The two walk away laughing as their victim cries. He is not seriously injured but completely humiliated.
Teach your children to fight back. There is nothing noble about cowardice. Pacifism is for the castrated. He hits you, you hit him ten times harder. Peace through strength.
More pesssimistic
No misunderstanding: I also see many reasons for pessimism.
Even more so because I live in the Netherlands.
Last week longtime former opposition leader Geert Wilders, had a private talk with Zelensky. It was a logical next step after the amazing spectacle of his PVV party forming a coalition with three other parties on July 2 2024. In an interview shortly before that very special moment in Dutch political history with broadcaster RTL …
… Wilders stated that military aid to Ukraine was no longer taboo and very explicitly added that preparedness to become more belligerent towards Russia was part of the negotiations to form a coalition with three other parties

What a time to be Dutch…
This website actually has a category titled Meanwhile in the Netherlands because my country seems to be a model country for European Union and World Economic Forum policies.
And I am even more pessimistic than many other conservatives. I am afraid many underestimate the challenges that come with building up countervailing powers.
And more still because I am afraid many see the politicians and the undermining of universities as the biggest threats while I think judicial internationalism forms an even bigger challenge.
Less pessimistic
However, there is one factor that makes me less pessimistic.
I am talking about the premature euphoria of victory among communists, jhadists and (transgenderist) nihilists alike.
Kamala Harris failed miserably in the US primaries. Recently Joe Biden was tackled by his party leadership as a candidate for the 2024 elections, but this was before the DNC convention. That convention was not given the room by the party leadership however, to choose someone other than Harris. Questionable. But more questionable was the selection of her vice presidential candidate. For years, Harris has been known as the ‘most liberal‘ in her party. And now her running mate Walz was not a somewhat more median, more moderate Democrat, but someone who is possibly even more extreme and less competent.
The horror of October 7 has led to more anti-Semitism worldwide, but has also led to recognition of the complete jihadist agenda.
An agenda that is not limited to the destruction of the state of Israel and the expulsion and/or murder of Israelis but also includes genocide of Jews worldwide.
The open pro sharia rants by jihadists in Germany, France and the UK or even pro subjugation of all non-Muslims, is now reaching more people than our earlier warnings did.
Many are now beginning to realise that Muslim extremists do know their sources.
The slogan ‘first the Saturday people, then the Sunday people‘ is also beginning to sink in. Perhaps it is also beginning to sink in that the murder of Christians in Nigeria and black non-muslims in East Africa still continues and the murder of Hindus in Bangladesh is flaring up.
As for the gruesome transgender-agenda, the small but determined women of LetWomenSpeak have been attacked for many years with both bullshit arguments and physical violence.
With great success, all kinds of groups and types of problems are still being lumped together to create a large fog curtain.
But finally, the playing of the victim card that the dangerous lunatics and criminals are brandishing is starting to lose its impact.
For years, that card worked best in the direction of women.
Partly “thanks” to the horrible choices of the International Olympic Committee, that is now changing.
I suspect that this is also one of the main reasons that in the US, the youngest category of voters (in addition to Latinos and Blacks) are increasingly walking away from the Democrats.
MAHA
That the last more decent Democrats who were recently ousted from that party are now very explicitly choosing the MAGA camp is also cause for optimism.
The special addition of the slogan MAHA, Make America Healthy Again, is particularly welcome. JFK and Gabbard are also both very outspoken on the Transgenderism issue.
